Dansko recently installed a 1,040 solar panel system designed to supply about 25% of our total energy or more than 300,000 kilowatts a year, an equivalent of:
• Nearly 30 residences
• 41.5 passenger vehicles
• 46.3 acres of pine forest
And that’s only one year! Over its lifetime we will have pulled over 1,000 vehicles off the road, turned the lights on in over 700 houses and saved nearly 1200 acres of forest. Plus when Dansko goes off the grid everyone wins in terms of lower electric bills!
